Khloe Kardashian Biography

Overshadowed by Her Sisters?

Khloe Kardashian is one of the most famous reality TV stars in the world. Despite being often overshadowed by her sisters, she continues to rule a great part of the reality show.

For those who don’t know (how is that even possible?), she has been on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” since 2007, and she has also starred in “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.”

Although most of her success comes from the show alone, she is part of the celebrities who knows how to invest her money. Hence, part of her millions come from business ventures and more success not entirely related to the show.

But how successful is she? Does she deserve to be called an actual entrepreneur? Let’s find out.

Early Years: Who Is Khloe Kardashian?

Starting slow and with the basics, Khloe Alexandra was born June 27, 1984, in Los Angeles, California, to parents Robert and Kris Kim Kardashian.

Robert Kardashian was a well-known attorney. He defended O.J. Simpson’s highly publicized murder trial.

Her siblings include older sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, as well as her younger brother, Rob.

Khloe went through her parent’s divorce in 1989. Not long after, her mother Kris remarried in 1991 to Bruce Jenner, an Olympic gold medalist.

Khloe was given four step-siblings by her mother’s marriage: Burt Casey, Brandon, and Brody Jenner. Kris and Bruce also had two daughters together: Khloe’s younger half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Her early years aren’t marked with specific education or actions. Instead, it is more about her mother’s life and how she married the gold medalist.

What we know about her school days is only the fact that Kardashian attended Marymount High School, a Catholic school for girls in Los Angeles.

After her sisters had graduated, Kardashian decided to quit school and go homeschooling. At age 17, she earned her GED.

Kardashian sustained a severe concussion in 2001 after she was involved in a car accident. She also lost her father, Robert, at 18 to esophageal carcinoma, two months after being diagnosed.

Success Story: When Fame Came Knocking

As we previously mentioned, it is hard not to know about the show that made the entire family successful. However, it is fair not to know how things developed for Khloe from there onwards.

The first episode of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” was broadcast in 2007. The reality television show focuses on the adventures of Khloe, her family, and their relationships.

Since its release, Khloe has been known for her quick wit, boisterous honesty, and unabashed humor. This public opinion about her remains as the show truly dives deep into every single one of the members.

Thanks to it, it is possible to watch her life closely and set a general opinion of the reality celebrity.

One of the main focuses for her in specific is that “Keeping up with the Kardashians” shows Khloe managing multiple business ventures.

Among them, she has been seen running D-A-S-H clothing stores with her sisters Kourtney and Kim. They also started a business to design swimwear and jewelry.

Khloe designs swimwear and jewelry independently of her siblings by working with QVC and Sears and has her hands in the PerfectSkin and QuickTrim product lines.

Although the main show has been the reason for success, it is known for being a pioneering show as well since it has seen many spinoffs.

The first, “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami” in 2009, saw the sisters having fun while living together in the Sunshine State. Partly due to the exposure, Khloe was invited that year to compete in “Celebrity Apprentice.”

Following her success in the show, 2009 came with more than just the reality show.

After only being together for one month, Khloe married NBA star Lamar Odom on September 27, 2009. The couple’s wedding was included and broadcasted in “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” along with their life as a married couple.

However, their lives easily turned into a reality TV show named “Khloe & Lamar.” It focused on the couple’s struggle to have children and how they had their usual and regular lives.

Khloe denied rumors that she and Lamar had planned to cease taping their show because of the NBA’s disapproval in 2011. Odom’s stats actually had improved since they met. However, in 2012, the final episode of the series aired.

Other Show Opportunities

In 2012, Simon Cowell invited Khloe as the host of “The X Factor,” a popular music competition series.

Khloe had a hard time during this time in her personal life as she tried to prove she was Robert Kardashian’s biological daughter amid allegations from her stepmother that Robert claimed Kris had said Khloe wasn’t his.

Rumors circulated that Khloe’s physical appearance was not like her sisters. The rumor was finally dispelled by a paternity test, which was then recorded for the next season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” based on the year.

After the battle, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian were the stars in a spinoff series called “Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons.” Unfortunately, it lasted one season.

She continued her reality TV career despite the failure by appearing in her own talk show, “Kocktails with Khloé,” on FYI. However, that too had a short shelf life.

E! aired “Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian” in January 2017 and continues serving as the host of the makeover series.

A Bit Closer: Khloe Kardashian’s Personal Life

Aside from her attempts to expand her career and having her own show, she has had a wild ride throughout the years when it comes to personal life.

Rumors began to circulate about Kardashian’s relationship with Odom in August 2013. Other reports of drug abuse emerged after reports of infidelity were made by TMZ.

Several media outlets reported that Kardashian had reported Odom missing not long after. Unnamed sources via ESPN revealed Odom’s location after 72 hours. However, he also announced that he was receiving help from friends to deal with an ongoing drug abuse problem.

Odom was charged with driving under the influence. Kardashian convinced him to check into rehab, but he left the facility after just 24 hours.

Kardashian filed for divorce later that year. While she began dating other people, such as rapper French Montana and NBA pro-James Harden, she was still concerned about her husband’s mental health.

Kardashian and Odom were still trying to end their separation when her soon-to-be ex-husband was discovered unconscious in a Nevada brothel in October 2015.

Kardashian was able to rush to the hospital and make medical decisions for him despite their long separation. He was only released from the hospital in January 2016 and began to focus on his recovery.

In October 2016, the couple was officially separated.

Although she was there for him throughout the years, she was known for having been seen with NBA player Tristan Thompson since July 2016. After weeks of speculation, Kardashian announced her pregnancy via Instagram in December 2017.

It wasn’t until the March 2018 season finale of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” that Khloe would have a daughter.

Multiple videos showed Thompson getting intimate with women in nightclubs shortly before her due date. True Thompson was born to Khloe Thompson on April 12, despite the apparent evidence of his infidelity.

After Thompson admitted to cheating on Khloe with Kylie’s best friend Jordyn Woods, it was reported that Thompson and Khloe had split.

This was a big scandal following how she wasn’t only pregnant, but the infidelity was also with someone close to the family. This divided them for a few months despite how Kylie supported her sister.

Khloe Kardashian: Inside Her Net Worth

Finally, focusing on what truly matters for most people, how much has Khloe amassed with her reality show career and business ventures in clothing and jewelry?

The popularity of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” has resulted in many product endorsement deals. Besides the business ventures mentioned with her sister, Khloe also gets paid per post advertisements she shares on social media.

Collaborations with her sisters, Kourtney and Kim, on books, including “Dollhouse” (released in February 2011) and “Kardashian Konfidential” (released November 2010), have brought revenue their way.

In February 2011, Kardashian and her ex-husband Lamar Odom launched Unbreakable, which is a unisex perfume that reported over $2 million in earnings.

The second fragrance was Unbreakable Joy and fell a bit in terms of profits.

Khloe hosted “The Mix up with Khloe Kardashian Odom,” a radio program where she answered questions and interviewed celebrities that aired on January 30, 2012, which was part of her paycheck back in the day.

In December 2018, Khloe was named Brand Ambassador for Burst Oral Care and continued to be part of the brand.

Khloe Kardashian Biography #8 - didyousaymoney.com

Thanks to the revenue earned from the reality shows over the years and business ventures, Khloe has set a net worth at $50 million as of this date. However, it is pressumtevely going up due to new investments that haven’t been entirely disclosed.

Part of her fortune was Justin Beiber’s house when she bought it in 2014 for $7.2 million.

The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom house sat on 1.3 acres and was purchased shortly after her divorce from Lamar Odom.

Khloe completed extensive renovations to the home measuring 11,000 square feet and was then put up for sale in May 2020 for about $19 million.

Donations & Social Work: Is She a Charitable Person?

One thing many people think about is whether the Kardashians work with charities or not. Khloe is not the exception among the questions and doubts.

However, she had mentioned how her father taught her and her sisters not to boast about their charity work, which means they do contribute but don’t often disclose it.

Despite the little information about social work, there are several confirmed reports of donations and contributions.

Khloe openly supports foundations like Elton John AIDS Foundation, Dream Foundation, PETA, and Race to Erase MS.

In addition, several donations have been made by the celebrity.
